Week of Jan 4 – Jan 11

  • All students and family members are invited to celebrate the new year at Kagami Biraki on Saturday, Jan. 9. This Seido New Year’s tradition is a chance to reflect on our accomplishments in the last year, set goals for the new year, and start our training year off right. We will begin at 10 am with an all-school workout, then have a potluck feast starting at 11. There will be no regular classes on this day, so be sure to join us at 10!
  • Personal Safety and Conflict Resolution for Women and Teens is coming up January 30. Register yourself or someone you love today.
  • Pick up your 2016 Sun Dragon Calendar. If you preordered a calendar, they have arrived! Pick up your copy/copies in the office. If you signed the line for auto-payments, the total amount for the number of calendars ordered will be added to January’s tuition payment.
  • Check out the 2016 Class Schedule! Starting this week, new classes are added and some have different times. We have exciting new offerings, so there should be something in the new schedule for you.
  • Mark your calendars now for Spring Break Camp! March 14-18, 8:45am-5:15pm. Open to kids elementary school age — this is open to everyone, not just karate students. Registration now open!
  • We have a great new team of volunteers so if you know someone who would like a violence prevention workshop, email us!
  • Did you know you can login to the student/member website to do things like update your contact information and see your attendance / class count? Go to http://www.sundragon.org/member-login/ (there’s also a link on the homepage) and login (use the email address that is receiving this email). If you have any questions or have trouble logging in, talk to an instructor or send us an email.
