Camp Description

Come join the fun this summer at Sun Dragon’s day camp for girls! Our Girls’ Karate Camps are open to current students, alumnae, and girls who want to try martial arts for the first time. Sun Dragon’s summer camp includes

  • Seido Karate - Good exercise, good values, good fun!
  • Self Defense - Handle bullies and other emergencies.
  • Writing Projects - Creatively exploring leadership, respect, and cooperation.
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Meditation - Learn to calm and control your mind.
  • Friday Demo - Family and friends are invited!

Camp is about having fun while developing physical skills and encouraging character development. We teach Seido Karate, a traditional Japanese style that emphasizes respect, courage, self-control, confidence, and responsibility. Campers can earn their first promotions! Full attendance at camp qualifies campers for their first promotion to the rank of advanced white belt.

Campers will fill their days with karate, martial arts-related games, art, performance, outdoor play, and more. Pack a lunch and a water bottle! Friday the 25h is performance time - at 12:30, friends and family are invited to come see what the girls have been up to.
