Our spring self defense workshop is open to teen and adult women. This one-day basic skills workshop will cover awareness for violence prevention, using voice and body language to defuse a dangerous situation, and physical skills to fight back and escape if necessary. Register today!

| Sun Dragon was at Barton Creek Mall during tax-free weekend as part of the Red Cross Health Fair. The most exciting part of the day was our demo, when Senpai Doris Ann, Senpai Barbara, Shay, Rosalinda, and Senpai Leila wowed the crowds with a karate and self defense demo. Senpai DA and Senpai Barbara showed off Seido Kata and the second Yakosoku Kumite (”promise fight”), while Senpai Leila demoed Pinon Kata 3.
White belt Shay and Blue belt Rosalinda showed super strong spirit and awesome technique with first Taikyoku, and there were demonstrations of both the formal self defense techniques and self defense techniques against bullies, strangers for kids and adults. It was a great time and lots of people learned about Sun Dragon. We even signed up a few new students! |
